Lismore Heritage Centre

Lismore Heritage Centre is a Tourist Information Point and Visitor Centre situated in the heart of Lismore town. Housed in the old Courthouse Building, the newly refurbished center consists of interactive exhibition galleries where you can come face to face with the historic figures who shaped Lismore town through the ages.

If you prefer to explore the past in open air, historical town tours are available daily. Family Fun Packs are also on sale- these are treasure hunt style trails that will lead you on a self guided tour of our town.

Our gift shop, showcasing local crafts, is the perfect place to pick up postcards, gifts and souvenirs while the staff in our Tourist Information Office will be happy to help you with any queries you may have.

Groups and clubs wishing to visit Lismore should contact Alice who will organise a Great Day Out just for them. Packaging all the area’s attractions in one tailor made outing will mean your day out has never been so stress free!

The Heritage Company runs education packages from the centre; hundreds of children visit Lismore each summer on their school and our science team, inspired by Robert Boyle, the famous scientist born in Lismore, reach many more in their classrooms with our Mobile Science Workshops.

here are meeting rooms available to rent within the centre for local community groups. The Education packages consist of The Lismore School Tour Experience, Mochuda Camps, Mobile Science Workshops and After School Science.
